Why I Explored Vaccine Problems.

Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, DO, AOBNMM, ABIHM,
Signatory to International Medical Council on Vaccination.

Have you ever heard the expression, “Some things you pick…and some things pick you”? I got drawn into the ever-changing, emotionally charged vaccine debate after attending the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) meeting in September 2000. I was troubled by what I had heard and decided to search for answers by going straight to the leading vaccine “authority” in the country: the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Imagine my surprise—and dismay—when I discovered that most of what I had accepted as The Truth about vaccines really wasn’t the truth at all.

Tetanus Shot: How Do We Know That It Works?

Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD,
July 10, 2014.

The cure for tetanus, a life-threatening and often deadly disease, has been sought from the very inception of the modern field of Immunology. The original horse anti-serum treatment of tetanus was developed in the late 19th century and introduced into clinical practice at the time when a bio-statistical concept of a randomized placebo-controlled trial (RCT) did not yet exist. The therapy was infamous for generating a serious adverse reaction called serum sickness attributed to the intolerance of humans to horse-derived serum. To make this tetanus therapy usable, it was imperative to substitute the animal origin of anti-serum with the human origin. But injecting a lethal toxin into human volunteers as substitutes for horses would have been unthinkable.

A Shot Never Worth Taking: The Flu Vaccine.

27th November 2013.

Deep into my 6th year of researching and investigating the damning science that condemns vaccine efficacy and safety – yes, all of them – I am beginning to turn my attention more to the societal memes and the individual belief systems that protect and perpetuate tragically flawed and unacceptably dangerous collective behaviors.

Your Body. Your Baby. Their Flu.

As a conventionally trained, dyed-in-the-wool psychiatrist, I learned that mental illness is a manifestation of an imbalance of brain chemicals that can be largely reduced to too little serotonin and/or norepinephrine, too little dopamine, or messed up excitatory signals at the membrane level. These deficits required pharmaceutical intervention for repair, just as one of my attendings once patronizingly said to an inpatient post-suicide attempt: if you had poor vision, you would need glasses. There would just be no way for you to navigate the world without those glasses no matter how much you wanted to.

An Interview With Research Immunologist Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD, Part 3 of 3. By Catherine Frompovich.

Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD,
05 July 2012.

Vaccine Illusion is Tetyana’s effort to reach parents outside the San Francisco Bay Area with a similar message she teaches in her classes on making vaccination decisions. She is also dedicated to spreading the awareness of sorely needed changes in the way modern biomedical research is done. Her e-Book, Vaccine Illusion, is available from as a Kindle edition and a few free excerpts are available at her book website (

An Interview With Research Immunologist Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD, Part 2 of 3. By Catherine Frompovich.

Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD,
20 June 2012.

Dr. Obukhanych’s passion is educating herself and others about immunity. One of Tetyana’s ways of doing that is teaching small one-on-one-type classes in Menlo Park, California to help parents make their own informed vaccination decisions ( Her classes cover the ‘waterfront’ on vaccine issues and include: if, and when do, vaccines prevent and not prevent disease—something probably disputed by many; dangers in vaccines, especially the effects of aluminum, a neurotoxin and adjuvant in many vaccines that might be sensitizing children to be allergy-prone; the principles and the flaw of the vaccine design; the lack of scientific knowledge of natural immunity (a very important topic for this interviewer) along with nutritional factors that lower susceptibility to disease—just to mention a few.

Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD,
13 June 2012.

Dr Tetyana Obukhanych, author of the book “Vaccine Illusion” has studied immunology in some of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions. She earned her PhD in Immunology at the Rockefeller University in New York and did postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. and Stanford University in California.

Catherine Frompovich conducted an in-depth interview with Dr Obukhanych which is now transcribed. We will be publishing it in three parts.

Dr. Tenpenny on Travel Vaccines.

Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, DO,
Signatory to International Medical Council on Vaccination,
24 February 2012.

Vaccines are NOT required for most countries of the world – yellow fever is the sole exception, and the rules on that one can be found on the CDC website under “travel vaccines.” Vaccines are recommended only. I’ve had the good fortune to have traveled to nearly 60 countries in my life; I’ve never been asked for a vaccine record and if a particular place required ANY vaccines, I would refuse to go there. Period.

The Deadly Impossibility Of Herd Immunity Through Vaccination.

Those who are observant have noticed a dangerous trend in the United States, as well as worldwide, and that is the resorting of various governments at different levels to mandating forced vaccination upon the public at large. My State of Mississippi has one of the most-restrictive vaccine-exemption laws in the United States, where exemptions are allowed only upon medical recommendation. Ironically, this is only on paper, as many have had as many as three physicians, some experts in neurological damage caused by vaccines, provide written calls for exemption, only to be turned down by the State’s public-health officer.
